Every project is different, but here’s an outline of you can expect.
Who You’ll Deal With
For the most part, you’ll deal with our senior web developer and designer, Sarah K.
There may be occasions when you liaise with one of our team members:
Getting Started
First, we need to get a good idea of what you’re looking for, and will request a meeting – either by phone or in person – to understand more about your project.
From this, we’ll prepare a detailed Quote & Design Brief, containing the project scope and desired outcomes, as well as all the pricing, timescale and technical information you’ll need for comparison with other companies. The project is divided into stages, with the payments and deliverables for each stage clearly identified.Design & Development
Once accepted, the quote becomes the design brief, and we begin the project on the given start date.
For website projects, you’ll be given passworded access to site, enabling you to watch the build process ‘live’. During this stage, clients can request as many changes as they wish, so long as the project stays within the overall total time budget. Over the years we’ve found this ‘collaborative’ approach to be most time and cost effective – delivering the best results and allowing a natural, fluid work-flow.Testing & Responsiveness
Before a website goes ‘live’, we’ll check any functionality (eg forms, shopping carts, payment gateways etc) with dummy or sandbox accounts to make sure everything is working properly.
We’ll also do a final responsiveness check, running the site through over thousands of device/operating/browser combinations to make sure it looks good however it’s viewed. It’s usually at this stage that we set up and test any mailboxes and conduct the admin training.Sign-Off & Live Launch
Once everything is completed, and any bugs or layout issues addressed, the website is launched live.
We’ll do a final round of testing conducted, a sign over the admin and any copyrights to you.
